Apr 4, 2024 I just put out my first album and there were tons of roadblocks when I thought the album was done and “handed in” Let’s say Em’s release date is 4/26 and he wanted to give himself a month to make sure everything is good to go, this gives him time to fix any set backs such as: Artwork - can be rejected if it’s a borrowed photo, not in the right format, not the right size, doesnt gave essential detail such as artist and album name. Music - can be rejected: 1. if the sample isn’t cleared (example “Don’t Front” not making MMLP2, or original “Hailie’s Song” with The Beatles sample). Em prob picked the dates of those albums in advance and felt he had to stick to that date, he cut Don’t Front, and had time to rework the beat on “Hailie’s Song”. 2. Wrong file format 3. Multiple other reasons Once a song is approved, it can still be updated afterwords as you see Kanye do consistently. So if Em gets 14 tracks approved by the distribution company and streaming services today, but doesn’t plan on releasing them for another month and decides to add, remove, or update any songs he can, the changes would need to be approved but at that point it would only take 1-2 days, maybe even quicker for someone as big as Em
Apr 4, 2024 If he plans on dropping that merch bs for relapse why would he drop an album during that same month? I feel like this Friday would be fine cause Taylor won’t drop for two more weeks if thats who he’s worried about

Apr 4, 2024 He most likely won’t get #1 spot if he drops against Taylor but its not the people who listen to rap are gonna run over to Taylors album instead of Eminems. I know its the same charts but it’s different genres. I feel like he’ll still do good numbers. Maybe its June tho lol
