Apr 4, 2024 I hope you're right! I wouldn't even be upset if the album was in November/December if they told us that. It's the constant teasers and hints each month and then nothing comes of them that is getting very old after 4 years. If any rollout is underway, I hope we get a concrete date.
Apr 4, 2024 The only way Em could drop now is if the Dre hint was a ruse to start the rollout (which is a possibility). However if he was telling the truth, that he’s listening to the just finished album & putting some mixes to it before Eminem hands it in — then there’s a whole array of things needing to be done in preparation for the release still. From sample clearances, to tour dates, to marketing the project & picking the singles, to music videos, to even the album cover.
Apr 4, 2024 Wouldn't a lot of that be completed before the announcement? I understand the samples clearance and last minute changes/mixing, but after a 4 year hiatus, you would think they have the marketing, artwork, tour stuff planned before going on live tv and announcing it.

Apr 4, 2024 I get what you’re saying but the fact is that Dre never said an album was finished. He only said that Em was working on his next album. Dre listened to it but like it was already said, a lot more has to go into it. Dre is going to have influence over tracks and which order they’re in, mixing etc, whether they need a certain type of song etc etc. A lot can change just from that whole session.

Apr 4, 2024 That's true and a good point. Based off Dres comments of "album this year" I would have guessed 2nd half of 2024. Its the comments about him listening to it the next day, and then the photo of Em, Dre, Royce, Alc, Denaun all in the studio with the lots 2 listen caption that doesn't make sense why it wouldn't be close. Especially the EZ part. Why bring him into the studio to listen to an Em project that's 6 months away. I feel like he would be the most likely to spoil something

The April fool’s must have been also - iirc he’s never even posted an April fool’s before but now he’s doing it whilst acknowledging us wanting the album? Definitely promo And even if it’s a ‘surprise’ album/drop, I’m sure teams have been working on what you mentioned for a while anyway. Tours can take years to arrange. Also wouldn’t surprise me if one of reasons for the Doomsday mv delay was to film another video with Cole Bennett for his solo album Worth noting Bizarre was in the studio recording a few days before MTBMB so the turnaround can be pretty quick. Wasn’t being serious when I said something’s coming tonight, but it also wouldn’t surprise me. And I think it’s basically done otherwise he wouldn’t get it announced on national TV. Em’s not like that. I don’t think Em and his camp would want to sit on an album for too long. Not with how nervous Em probably gets nowadays with social media reaction. Not to mention the label will want that number one and a lot of dates will be taken with some big artists dropping soon

Apr 4, 2024 It’s either tonight or May. June at the absolute LATEST. If bizarre was there for MTBMB sessions right before hand, they can easily do mixing week of. It’s now been 2 weeks since the listening party, the album can totally be mixed by now. Physicals won’t ship until later anyway so it’s not like they have to wait on vinyls to be made so they can be shipped on release week. The album is either done or very close to being done. A rollout can start throughout this month and it drops in early May, or they say f--- it and just hit the big red button tonight. If it drops in May they do have time to make physicals and have them ship first week so it just depends on what style of rollout they are gonna go for.
