Apr 16, 2024 I've just starting using my Letterboxd properly yesterday so my recent activity is f----- which is why I didn't screenshot lol. I'm a Damien Chazelle freak so I've been meaning to watch Babylon, he's one of the few modern directors that's knows that cameras can move and people can learn choreography! Also been meaning to watch Chinatown, know it's a classic. What did you think about Once Upon A Time? Also have you peeped Poor Things yet?
Apr 16, 2024 It's good, didn't know if I'd like it for like the first half but the second half clicked and made me enjoy it way more, since we're on A24 movies you should also watch Talk To Me if you haven't. I really need to finish Midsommar and watch Beau Is Afraid.

With how fast everything spreads online... a day or two would be good too, 'Dropping tomorrow, midnight' = internet goes crazy / you get the main swell of fans ready in wait, then others catch up as the hype starts blowing up in that 72 hour window espesh; goes from 'Eminem dropping tomorrow! new Em album!' > to 'he dropped, omg it's out!' > to 'omg it's amazing/sucks' and all them tweets and s--- blend into one little hysteria, I think 1-2 days is perfect.
Apr 16, 2024 Shows how quick hype dies these days, for anything, including Em. Back in the day, even around Revival time... nikkas speculating like crazy and foaming at the mouth for months on end. Now it's kinda jus like 12 people like 'IS IT HERE YET? NO, f---!' every day for a week then dead again.
