Apr 24, 2024 The line delivery and animation is so perfect with Pim being so innocent and pure meanwhile Charlie nervous as f--- that someone’s gonna hear him
Apr 24, 2024 Eminem still be relevant today is incredible. Even my lil bro likes Eminem and I don’t even play it around him cuz he is way too young. But apparently he knows Godzilla and lose yourself lyrics. He only 7
Apr 24, 2024 Taylor Swift's 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT' now aiming for #1 debut on the Billboard 200 with further increased 2.4 million+ units first week (via @HITSDD). Biggest streaming debut ever, career high sales and challenging for #2 all-time album debut.
Apr 24, 2024 Looks like if Eminem drops his album this Friday, it won't go no.1. This Taylor Swift album gonna have more second week sales than Eminem's album first week sales. I can't see Eminem reaching 200k-250k, looks like TS gonna do more than that in the second week.
Apr 24, 2024 I want to say that Eminem doesn't give a f--- about that but I don't see Eminem dropping his album even in May due TS-Dua Lipa-Billie albums being in the charts. Maybe June it is.
Apr 24, 2024 Of course Taylor Swift sold that much, she sold her soul to Sleepy Dark Brandon for those numbers. The US gov bought all those albums. Not sure if that’s much better than the Trump Humpers.
Apr 24, 2024 d--- 5 days later I must say the Twisted Poet Society really came and went. Can’t even remember the album title
Apr 24, 2024 You know an album is good when it just made me want to listen to one of the featured artists songs instead
Apr 24, 2024 On my first listen, TTPD was nice as background music while playing video games but I feel like there wasn’t a lot of variety especially when considering how many songs there were. I think I would get bored on repeat listens but I’ll try to listen to the album a second time soon. I’d much sooner listen to Post Malone than Taylor’s new album in full again though. I still need to check out Florence + the Machine, that feature was kinda nice I suppose.
Apr 24, 2024 d--- 2.4mil vs. like 270k or whatever Em last did. The heights Em has fallen, even sales wise. He's not even a big seller now. And it's not like Taylor is a new artist, she debuted nearly 20 years ago and this is her 11th album, same as Em. Hopefully Em got some s--- to step the excitement and surprise up this time, as we know that's what he likes to do. But, he's ran out of tricks.
Apr 24, 2024 He can't sell albums, tbh. He has the biggest fan base (maybe besides Taylor) that would buy physicals but they don't even ship them on time. No promo, delayed music videos, no publicity. And when he appears on TV, he performs his songs which premiered 10 years ago. He can't win like that.
Apr 24, 2024 MTBMB would sell 520k with promo and he is a rap artist lmao this numbers very high for hiphop and idc bout pop music so he is in a good place
Apr 24, 2024 Yeah I think that's one of his biggest mistakes - what you said last, about performing all his old s--- primarily; It makes him feel like a greatest hits act, like the fkn Rolling Stones or something. When, he's still trying to be current and new. It's fine to play some of your old s---, obviously people going to an Eminem concert... some will expect that... but to feel new and fresh... you can't be touring your fkn greatest hits every time with like 2 new songs; it's supposed to be new album s---, that's what new artists do... Imagine Kendrick dropping, going on tour and just performing everything from GKMC & TPAB, s--- would look weird af. The way Em acts is like how a retired act who just occasionally does big legacy shows acts. I don't think the other s--- is an issue, he's always purposely been about mystique, but he's lost some of that by making his live shows so generic and repetitive and feeling like what I just said. He needs to like, inhibit new looks and album cycles and eras properly, not just drop s--- then perform Lose Yourself & Not Afraid for the 10 millionth time. Like, fam, I think we got enough performances of those songs for a fkn lifetime now.
Apr 24, 2024 Can’t believe he went and scurried away out the thread without acknowledging this post or answering the question. Embarrassing lol
Apr 24, 2024 But he is also pop. Yes he's a rapper, but he's a pop figure, and he's pop music - you can't be making love the way you lie and the monster and not be considered pop now. He's a giant pop figure who also makes pop songs.
