Sep 28, 2021 Tobey was a terrible spiderman. An eeyore of a Peter parker. Only parker he resembled at all was the 60s run of comics. Andrew was the best spiderman imo, they just dropped the ball with how they wrote the villains. Andrew had a better look, an actual attempt at a queens accent, the qwipy humor. Tom's alright as spiderman as far as when he's in the suit, but I'm so tired of the teenage parker. I just wish they could of gotten casting right from the get go or kept andrew and let him be in his mid to late 20s, or even get to where he has a daughter, parker industries etc. I'll never understand why ppl champion Tobey. I blame nostalgia glasses, he was a terrible parker and spiderman

But in all honesty its hard to really nail spiderman in one film.he's a tragic character, but at the same time theres alot of humor and battles with his moral compass and constant anxiety. I wouldnt wanna be tasked with making a spiderman movie lol

Sep 28, 2021 Guess you gotta look at it from a movie studio's perspective. Tom is the kind of guy who can pass for a teenager into his 30's unlike the 40 year olds who play high school kids in America, so if they want they can get a lot of years, movies and money out of Tom being Spiderman
