May 1, 2024 Absolutely not. I can’t stand most of Ems music nowadays, but once you hit the heights he did in his prime it’s hard not to listen to and get hyped for everything he puts out. same reason I’ll still always listen to new Kanye, Paul McCartney, Noel Gallagher etc

He raps about gun shootings, his role as America's mirror, / the s--- on a------, also Brainless, we feel like he raps about these things on all his albums but he hadn't really; he didn't rap about that s--- on Encore, Relapse, Recovery... it's him reflecting on some of society, his fame and role as provocateur, in a nonchalant and jokey way. Which he didn't do on any of those albums.
May 1, 2024 Relapse 10/10 Recovery 9.5/10 the problem with Relapse was that the album didn't have any big pop singles, Recovery solved this problem and allowed Eminem to do a stadium tour for the next decade. Eminem literally didn't have any big stadium hits in 2009 (since 2006), so he made Recovery. this year he released an album as Recovery to extend his career.
