May 1, 2024 Pretty sure Kamikaze videos were low budget because Interscope was caught completely off guard by Em wanting to put out an album. They banked on Venom and controversy carrying the album to success and they did.
May 1, 2024 Eminem's videos have been awful for a while. Up until 2010 they were amazing, give or take a few s--- ones. His older videos had such a better vibe, the way they were crafted and directed set the tone brilliantly. Now they just feel rushed and cheap. When I'm Gone for example is so well done, it's like a mini movie. The way it looks reminds me of the TV series' of that time like Prison Break, dark and gritty. Then you have other classics like Stan, The Way I Am, Cleanin Out My Closet etc. That's not even mentioning his lead singles or fun D12 tracks where the videos were interesting and captivating. Similar remarks can be made for his album covers. Clean and slick in his prime, cheap and tacky since 2010.
