May 3, 2024 it's been almost 7 years and there's still no explanation for most of the s--- that happened on Revival, it's really mind boggling, especially with the people that were involved in it
May 3, 2024 Yeah some of the s--- on Revival is just horrible. I'd love to know who listened to it before it was released and gave Em the "okay". Completely missed the mark, but at least it gave us Kamikaze
May 3, 2024 em a real creep for that. he was pushing 30 and she was barely 18 years old. he always been a woman hating/beating creep lowkey.
May 3, 2024 3 positive things that came out of revival Castle (in any other eminem album it'd be overlooked, even the post relapse ones) Chlora Remix Kamikaze I don't really fw arose, never understood the appeal, the last part where he rewinds the whole s--- is nice tho
May 3, 2024 its written from the perspective of Kim after everything she went through with him all those years. Its almost a spiritual sequel to Kim. Its also the best song on MMLP2. Love the beat, the whole song is different to anything he's done. The only thing that irritates me is the high pitched Melodyne wave in the back of the word "I'll" in the chorus which the engineer clearly forgot to take out. Id take a thousand STIW over godzilla/rap god any day.
May 3, 2024 Chlora remix was brilliant, remember when it came out being shocked and annoyed the whole of Revival didn't sound like it - definitely had his hunger back
May 3, 2024 I’ve always said Stronger Than I Was would actually be a decent song if it had a good singer on it instead of Eminem.
May 3, 2024 The best thing about revival was the backlash. After all these years he finally got the critiques and started to fix himself from Kamikaze onwards. Other than a few dud songs and features here and there, Eminem has been on fire since since. The irony being it was the revival of Eminem.
May 3, 2024 I wanna hear the unreleased Proof Tribute where apparently Em went too far and Dre had to stop him from releasing it.
May 3, 2024 Em seemed more pissed off about fans critiquing it and "not getting it" than actually getting why people hated it. I enjoyed MTBMB but Kamikaze not so much. To me it just sounded like someone making excuses and caring way too much about what people have to say online. If Em stopped trying so hard to please everyone and just worked on stuff that inspires him, he'd put out better music.
