May 14, 2024 If we go from SSLP; can Em avoid his 'every 4th album = s---' curse? 1 - SSLP 2 - MMLP 3 - TES 4 - ENCORE 5 - RELAPSE 6 - RECOVERY 7 - MMLP2 8 - REVIVAL 9 - KAMIKAZE 10 - MURDER A 11 - MURDER B 12 - Uh oh!? Also taking a long time between / to 'craft' the album usually leads to a mismatch of sounds or moods (MMLP2, REVIVAL), so, hopefully that's not the case here too. He's on a great run with Kami, A & B; I do have a feeling the concept here may drive some greatness, but, just depends where he goes with the sound and if he can continue to keep it consistent. And not crank in jarring pop grabs, or different years of sounds & styles clashing.
May 14, 2024 Recovery for me. 1. It has quite a few good songs but nothing stellar like most of his other albums have 2. It's a pretty good album in itself but its success has led to his worst creative decisions since. 3. Repetitive, unmemorable instrumentals 4. A lot of horrible puns
