May 22, 2024 Billie sold 300k im sure if pyshicals ready em can do 300k+ and may 31 thing have 1m like wdym u will see once he mentions 'new album' in the post it will blow away + this isnt the 2020 anymore theres 21381298492139128 account that posting 'Eminem hints may 31 '
May 22, 2024 Noticed that too. Twitter isn’t everything, but the hype isn’t particularly high in general media either
May 22, 2024 Not just that. He's just not the figure he once was even say.. MMLP2 days, in general culture. Mainly only Em fans even know about his releases. I told some chick I'm waiting on new Em soon and she said 'lol he's till making music!?'. Some Em fans are in a bubble, most people don't have a clue he's still even around lol.
May 22, 2024 Everybody knows he is still around nearly every music enjoyer knows godzilla and music to be murdered by have 4b+ streams (only 3 kanye albums have that much stream)
May 22, 2024 I don’t even like Drake, and you got me defending. Drake as the biggest rapper hasn’t seen them numbers as of of recent, so I don’t expect Eminem to see those numbers. I would love to see it.
May 22, 2024 I’m not tbh. Kanye as an older act still did like 300k I believe, so that’s what I’d hope em to be at or better. He do 150k is a definitely fall off to me
May 22, 2024 With the machine Em has behind him they should be doing better. This is very underwhelming even for the hardcore fans.
May 22, 2024 No they don't lol. You're living in a bubble bro. You think because you're so obsessed with Eminem, the world is. The average music listener long checked out of Eminem. People are not following him and do not know he's about making music. I've grown up listening to him and shoving him down my family's throats, but even they don't know, how would they, unless I mention it to them or show them a new song. He's not affecting the broader culture like that. Wheras people just 'know' Taylor Swift is about and releasing s---.
May 22, 2024 Eminem has roughly the same # of monthly listeners as Kanye on Spotify and he'll be on the front page when he drops and inserted into playlists, he's obviously not as big as he was but he's a legacy act and people will know when he drops bro lol. He just doesn't have a constant online presence like Drake and isn't doing wild s--- in the news like Kanye
May 22, 2024 You can quote Spotify numbers all you want lol. Numbers DO lie. Although first week sales of MTBMB are much closer to the reality. An online hit doesn't mean the broader world is up on him. Anyone who knows more than 1 person or doesn't live in their mother's basement knows this. In every day life - working with people, talking with people, of all generations... they do not. He is not followed, thought about or on people's radar like a current popular figure. He's just not. And anyone who can't admit that is either deluded or in denial.
May 22, 2024 Because he does all that cryptic stuff with clues and hints, that only his hardcore fans are aware of, instead of promoting his work seriously. He's gonna sell 100k at most with this approach.

May 22, 2024 You’re starting at a false hypothesis in the first place. Why are random anecdotes of people you speak to a reference point for music consumption gauging & not the data from streaming/sales? Not everyone pays attention to music at all. Even those that do don’t necessarily keep up with the latest news, trends & releases. The Kendrick x Drake beef set the music world on fire but the average joe won’t have even heard the songs.
