May 22, 2024 Exactly — the guy still would not be able to walk around on his own in any city in the world. That can’t be said for many artists. He’ll garner too much attention to the point where it’s unsafe Also, let’s say he sells ‘only’ 200k first week…that’s better than like 99% of all artists on the planet right now. Everything he does still gains a lot of traction. Not sure what other metric you’d need but I’m sure he’d pass on that one too He’s still famous as f---, just not as ridiculous as he was in his prime. And he’s definitely made a conscious effort to make that happen. Not sure it’s really a debate.
May 22, 2024 At the end of the day it doesn’t matter what Em sells first week, because I don’t think it is indicative of anything regarding his relevance or legacy, the focus is how many years later is it going to be played? Some of you criticize Em for his setlist on his tours for always playing his old songs but you need to understand that Curtain Call 1 is still on those charts being played thousands upon thousands of times each and everyday. How many people’s gym playlist consist of songs like Til I Collapse and Lose Yourself? Still to this day, 22 years later and your songs are still being played when people are working out. Revival sold 4 million copies…not bad for what is considered his worst album. He’s the biggest selling artist of the decade 2000-2009, that’s including his hiatus. He’s the 3rd highest selling artist of the 2010’s behind Adele and Taylor Swift and that’s including a 4 year break between MMLP2-Revival. And I’m pretty sure he recently cracked the top10 highest selling artists ever, if not he’s extremely close to it. Em’s legacy is unmatched and a lot of people like to forget that.

May 22, 2024 Eminem will be rapping like it’s 2002 on this album. He sounds hungry and flowing like it’s an 8 Mile Battle. The Eminem vs slim shady concept will be fully realized in the album. Various sample adlibs from the slim shady Lp and MMLP are littered across the album. This is the dream I had last night. It will come to pass

May 22, 2024 I have for a long time now, it just got to the point where everything I read was pretty much solely about his antics. But yeah, people should just ignore users they find annoying. Especially now with the new album being imminent it'll be nice to actually talk about Eminem in here
