May 27, 2024 Who hates Mosh, it's a fkn b-----r. Also the contrast between a) how to do a political anthem (Mosh) and b) how not to (Like Home)... Everything about Mosh serves the same purpose; the beat, his hook, his flow... it sounds exactly what it's trying to be - a plodding, brooding, call to arms. It's atmospheric, memorable, and it's a big - plodding anthem and melody - slow, deliberate, forceful... Compare that to Like Home = cut n paste hook n beat, could be for a million things or a million artists, cheap pop tat, with Em - with an unnecessarily showy delivery n flow, just obsessed with puns that a fkn 10 yr old would write, seriously trying to create a serious anti-Trump anthem, and saying things like 'this kind of pickle that we're in's hard to dill'... I mean, it's fkn absurdly bad. And when you contrast those two songs in particular and his ability to work in a certain lane - even Encore-era vs. recently... the idea he hasn't fallen off as an artist is just silly. So so bad.

May 27, 2024 Nah I don’t really watch political documentaries, they tend to miss a lot of important details due to time constraints. I’d recommend the Blowback podcast though, Season 1 is on Iraq, Season 4 is on Afghanistan.
