It probably has very little to do with the actual beat...
May 29, 2024 Eminem would have got paid s--- load to promote Venom as it was on a soundtrack. Why it was announced before the album came out, so I doubt it. Should have been its own thing as makes no sense being on the album.
May 29, 2024 d--- 'Baby' is so great. I'd say if we're just talking about 'perfect' rapping, it might be his best example. It's just so well measured, so well balanced, intricate but not so tightly bound it's just a noise showcase itself... it's really him at his best. Wild he didn't put that on MMLP2, and 'Groundhog Day'. d--- 'Wicked Ways' is immense too, d--- I be fannin' out on MMLP2 s--- alla sudden. Terrible album but great rapping!

I was just curious about the reason if there are any. Another question is, when did Em write this one ? It's only 2 songs, lol, and any time an coincidence happens... we humans are bad at rationalising, it always seems like there's something to it rather than it just being what it is. Think of how much s--- Em mentions in his lyrics and also how many other people's s--- he interprets for hooks-concepts etc; probably just got a sample or a hook which made him thought of it or said the word 'disappear' lol, knowing him, and he thought of Houdini or tied it into the concept of death of / disappear.
May 29, 2024 Well, I think he means 1 of 2 things by it, either: (and I'm thinking he's referring mainly to the single with 1)... 1 - he means he's going to get himself cancelled / disappear, make his career disappear by the outlandish s--- that he's going to say. Which, I can't imagine what he could possibly say that he thinks would offend people at this point, but, who knows, he may be addressing anything or any one on any level, he may know something or a lot of things we don't, and know it will cause a gigantic fuss or something. or, 2 - he means it in the sense of, the opposite; he's going super woke, will show the real him on it etc. and in doing so he's killing his career (and hence, the death of slim shady and his persona), because 'shady made me' and 'suddenly I wasn't such a bad guy :/, thought I committed career suicide'... I initially was sure it was the first one aka going all out batshit insane cancellation s--- but now I write it out, it could easily be the 2nd one, which would make sense with 'the death of slim shady' aka new him.
