May 29, 2024 For me it's Lose Yourself > 8 Mile > Rabbit Run. But could also easily see 8 Mile > Lose Yourself. Lose Yourself isn't overrated or more famous jus because of that lol. It's a fkn amazing piece of music, song. One of the biggest rap hooks ever for a start, without even getting into the brilliance of the verses, the flow, the beat; he figured out how to transcend rap with that hook and feel, it's huge, feels as big as any all-time rock song or pop song. Whilst at the same time, being as authentic and still complicated (lyrically) as it gets. Pure rap, pure hip-hop.

May 29, 2024 I hope Em fully sticks to concept for album, if it is actually a concept and not just a metaphor aka 'hey old me's dead, here's new me / Recovery 2' or something -- and doesn't have pointless love tracks we've heard a million times. Who am I kidding though, he will 100%. As long as they all fit musically I'm okay with it, but working on this for 3 years? Fkn alarms me. As means he's going to have multiple styles on it.
