May 30, 2024 I remember seeing videos like TRSS, The Way I Am and Lose Yourself on TV when I was really young. Then when I was around 9/10 I remember my brother playing Puke crazy loud from his bedroom and I was like who the f--- is that lol, s--- sounded fire to me then I can't lie. Fast forward a year or two later and I was constantly watching the When I'm Gone video in my primary school ICT suite on Clippagina.nl because YT was banned (anyone remember this @Michael Myers ?). Then before Relapse dropped I downloaded his whole discography from BitTorrent. I remember being suckered into fake zip downloads for Relapse with many fake tracklists (Insult to Injury etc). Once it dropped I was disappointed as f--- because I had listened to his prime albums non-stop beforehand and thought wtf is this. Recovery era was goated though. The Warning, Forever and Airplanes dropping beforehand got me hyped af. Was listening to Recovery everyday around the time of my year 10 GCSES and all throughout that Summer. Memories man.
