Jun 2, 2024 I agree. But it's not just his voice that changed. In my opinion, his pronunciation changed too. He used to talk and rap with that sort of fake black accent. That's been gone since he came back from his hiatus for Relapse and it's faded progressively with each album.

"fix your bent antenna tune it in and then im gonna" was obviously just showcasing how he could rhyme the Batman theme. That was completely new and original at the time. "The centre of attention, back for the winter I'm interesting, the best thing since wrestling Infesting in your kid's ears and nesting" He was everywhere at the time. "Investing in your kids ears" is him literally telling the world they couldn't get rid of him and his influence on youth culture. Wrestling had also just been through the Attitude Era at the time too, so it was very relevant to mention wrestling. This song has no place even being mentioned in the same breath as Without Me.
