Usually when I listen to a new Em song and think it’s pretty dope and then immediately afterwards stumble upon his prime stuff, I always realize that it’s just in another league. But this time I thought it has the same vibe and aura. Actually I thought about skipping Say Goodbye to listen to Houdini again, because it’s addictive. This feels like a fever dream, a very welcome one!

Jun 2, 2024 this might just make me cry I agree with this cause Houdini was obviously the funny b-----r and I expect 0 other songs like this. Cheerful and funny sure but more like My Fault, I guess. and all criticism for his recent bad crafting of albums is fair but he always has some deeper songs. if the execution is right this time it might just be his best album since Relapse. A bunch of if's for sure but it's based on how he executed Houdini. if they told you he was going to make a throwback song like that a couple of weeks ago you would've expected something like Jimmy Brian and Mike or Doomsday 2 probably
