Jun 2, 2024 Most people watch mv less than few times. It's not cheap to make. You need to spend time on it too. So, I'm not sure unless the work itself kinda calls for it, no reason for any artist to s---t videos for every song on the album. It just doesn't make sense.

Jun 2, 2024 Yeah. It’s hard to pinpoint why he won’t get introspective about his life beyond things in his career everyone knows about and generic, non-specific relationship songs here and there. I get that he’s a 50 year old recluse who is unfathomably famous but it’s hard to believe he doesn’t have any interesting real-life experience to share from the last decade plus. Maybe he just wants to keep it private.

Jun 2, 2024 I don't see that same energy with JayZ though. Almost everything he's put out for the past 10 years has been absolute s---, more or less. Boring to death. Yet nobody ever takes that into account. But when analyzing Em, they always go back to "he hasn't been good since 2010". First: That's a lie. Second: Even if you didn't like ANYTHING after The Eminem Show, you can't say Magna Carta and 4:44 were on par with JayZ's greatest moments. But black people don't seem to measure them with the same bar.

Maybe not, but when he gets close to it, of course people are excited. Same way people are glad when they make another elmstreet, friday 13th, scream or halloween movie (or the geeky space movies).
