Jun 2, 2024 A lot of people hate Recovery cause it’s more pop. I think it was Em’s version of BP3. Em had a terrible run from MMLP2 to Revival. Even if it’s just two albums. If you add Recovery since some people hate pop, that’s 3 albums.

But to go from there to putting JayZ in a position that he can't be questioned and no one dares to even challenge whether he SHOULD be in the goat conversation or not, as they do with Em... is laughable for me.

It's not like you talked the guy yesterday and he said he just cares about being the best rapper and dropped Houdini today. This is why he is the goat and nobody can ever convince me otherwise. Nas is not even there. He basically vanished from mainstream after Illmatic. Not in the same league as Jay or Em. As for Jay when was the last time he dropped ? He had plenty of mediocre at best albums and no, I didn't like his last stuff at all
Jun 2, 2024 d---, this changes things for me, I didn't know all it took for him to be labeled a snake was not liking a song (which was f---ing dreadful btw) I gotta admit I didn't know he used to defend Em like this even with all the Slaughterhouse s--- going on. Also, all that s--- aside, the way people used to be careful when talking about Em before Revival's release is crazy lol Revival was so f---ing atrocious it made it ok for him to be s--- on publicly by colleagues and internet personalities alike (even if there had always been a little bit of "he ain't got it no more" talk since Relapse, it was never as loud as it was after Revival)
