Jun 3, 2024 For a song that is from a 51 year old rapper, that doesn't have an easy radio edit, it's doing as well as we could've possibly expected. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Album sales is the one I'm more interested in, as he's a monster with that. And with a strong single or two, and the best album he's put out since recovery, there's a genuine chance he could surprise a few people with the pull he still has.

Eminem dropping on the same day she is dropping will make people like you disappear, she will so hard that she will start hating Eminem Halsey literally cried when Music To Be Murdered dropped on the same day she dropped her album. Meghan last album literally sold less than 30k or so

Jun 3, 2024 Doesn’t need it to be number 1 or have more sales for it being as big as them, c----. It’s how well the song is perceived and remembered. Not because it did make the billboard top 3 or not at the time. The Monster for example will never be remembered as one of his most rememberable songs, despite it being a hit as it’s just cookie cutter song. Stan charted poorly but it’s one of his greatest songs and most memorable because of the quality of it. Music is not all about sales and charts.

Jun 3, 2024 how would everyone feel if Is This Love ended up being the next single if it wasn’t on CC2? based on his voice and everything I’m convinced Is This Love was cut from this new album and he put “09” in the title because either the beat/hook came from 09 or he wanted to toy with the sound without committing to it. And if people didn’t like it they could say “it’s a throwaway from a decade ago” but it’s clearly current Em and 50 on there
