Jun 5, 2024 I was really rooting for tomorrow night, but the lack of really anything this week besides the performance tomorrow (I don’t see him saying “ALBUM OUT TONIGHT” during his performance) made me think it’s likely next week with a cover reveal and release date announcement during the day on Friday or maybe Monday next week, since he seems to like to drop teasers on Mondays now. 6/14 just makes way more sense now. Jokes and bs aside, thanks for the info Solo
Jun 5, 2024 Bad day for you. Thought Eminem used his real voice at beginning of Houdini and went on a whole rant about how he should rap like that again Secondly, you had no clue Darkness was based on a real life shooting. Unbelievable.
Jun 5, 2024 We need more sftm or darkness type s--- and less the ringer and I love the ringer but there's a moment for everything and that moment's passed
Jun 5, 2024 Since he recently did a Part 2, I’m hoping for a Stronger Than I Was Part 2. Or maybe even Weaker Than I Was.
Jun 5, 2024 Honestly my only hope for features is some different people that he hasn’t worked with in the past. I’m at a loss at who could even feature just due to the nature of how the rollout has been between the cryptic and dark Detroit Murder Files and then the upbeat, classic Em sound we got from Houdini, but I like that I have really no clue where this project could go
Jun 5, 2024 I hope only a few tbh. I want to hear mostly Eminem on this album for both verses and hooks. Though of course it’s mostly about the quality of features not quantity. So like Nas’s instead of skylar grey’s for example.
Jun 5, 2024 If this is actually a concept album than I'm not expecting a ton, probably a Skylar type for a sadder hook and a couple rappers that are in the camp and can focus enough for it to fit a concept like Dre, 50, Royce or someone outside the camp that can do the same like Cole. If it's less focused than a full concept and more of a general theme that ties in at specific points like a more coheisive MTBMB then he can go crazy on features.
Jun 5, 2024 Went bowling, Houdini was on the radio. Last time I heard a modern Eminem song on the radio around here was prob River.
Jun 6, 2024 I think Houdini video is the answer: Dre, 50, Snoop, Boogie, Royce and that new guy. I still don't understand who he is, mtf or ftm.
Jun 6, 2024 Lol @ on DEHH, they were saying about 'what is he doing with the smooshing of the hair and the beard in the vid', 'is he gonna 'combine the two? cause that would be horrible'... as if he doesn't do that every single album lol. As if Slim Shady is actually a character... Only Em gave credence to this idea, with this concept. Well, we don't know exactly what the concept is yet, but it looks like it'll be his serious side fighting with... his bad thoughts / Shady and then he kills Shady... But thing is, he always combines them anyway, bc it's just HIM lmao, like, look at Unccomidating or Tone Deaf... what that's 'not shady!' or, other things aren't because he uses a deeper tone or yells? s---'s stupid. I hope it's not that aka what he does ANYWAY and he's pretending it's a concept. I hope he actually has made a story and put it together, not just 'ah I say crazy things thas shady, ah when i don't it's not! haha!.
Jun 6, 2024 How tf is 'Darkness' about shock value :/ you truly are a r-----. The whole song is just about his point about gun control. Whether you agree with it, think it's simplistic etc. is irrelevant for what I'm saying, the song isn't about shock :/ what a d-ck head lmao. It's just making a point through the story. Also 'Encore' does have a concept. Again whether you think it's s-----y or not does not mean it's not... a concept. Concept of him performing an encore and then killing the audience; he just didn't do it very well, or be very committed to it. Was actually a good concept, and cover and aesthetic, just a shame about all the music.
Jun 6, 2024 Guy with that account that worked at Spotify and leaked the lyrics to Houdini early last week is reportedly saying June 21st. Buckle up!
