Jun 6, 2024 I’d want him to slow his roll and put more into how he is delivering his words. Just slowwww it down some but without the screaming. It’s more about how you say something verses what you’re actually saying. In his prime he didn’t always have the most original lyrics but he would often deliver them flawlessly. I remember thinking around Eminem show era and a little beyond that this guy really didn’t really have a terrible verse…ever. It was just expected he would always deliver. And for the most part he was. He had said when making Eminem show that he tried to use his vocals as a musical instrument. He would record the verse first over the drums then build the beat around the verses. This allowed him to be more creative with his vocals and not always rely on the instrumental to determine how he would sound. Just get back to delivering the lyrics instead of worrying so much about every single word rhyming and having to have a pun or metaphor in every bar. A lot of peeps don’t care about that s---! People just want sonically good music to vibe to.
