Jun 7, 2024 I’m also that old and been a fan since SSLP. SSLP-TES was incredible. Encore was the most disappointed I’ve ever been about music until probably revival. But Relapse is tied for number one with SSLP for me. I had zero hopes for him before that album came out. I thought he was all done. When those first two singles came out before the album I was shocked how good they were, especially 3am. It was like SSLP shock value all over again but on steroids. Once the whole album dropped I probably listened to it every day until recovery dropped. And then still listened to relapse in between listening to recovery haha
