Jun 10, 2024 Somebody here said that singles don't promote albums well as most people will just listen to the single and don't care if there is a new album out. I don't agree with this as a percent of people WILL check out an album, however it is also beyond me why artists don't promote the albums within the music videos. I mean, why the h--- don't they end with displaying an album cover, just for one second at least? With the caption "out now" or "soon". Nowadays, a lot of artist release loose singles, not tied up to any albums, so how are people to know if a song is a stand-alone single or a lead single from an upcoming album? Why don't do such a simple thing as introduce your album cover or its title at the end of the music video?
