Jun 15, 2024 I thought I'd do an Eminem album ranking for old time's sake. Feels like it's been a while, and Houdini has been a genuinely fun time for an old fan. I got way too in depth, scored every song and graded every album on their totals. There's more to an album than that but it gives you a pretty decent representation for comparison. Here's the list: 1.) The Marshall Mathers LP (9.1) 2.) The Slim Shady LP (8.9) 3.) The Eminem Show (8.7) 4.) Relapse (7.6) 5.) Music To Be Murdered By (7.5) 6.) MTBMB Side B (7.4) 7.) Kamikaze (7.3) 8.) MMLP2 (6.9) 9.) Recovery (6.7) 10.) Encore (6.4) 11.) Revival (5.2) I learned that I'm a bigger Relapse stan than even I realised. MMLP2 is let down by some horrible songs. Revival set such a low bar that Encore looks pretty solid in comparison. And Side B is pretty mid but consistently so which puts it above many others.
