    Yeah he’s been like this forever. Even as far back as SSLP to MMLP. SSLP has that cartoony gimmicky feel with the nasally voice, and MMLP is a complete contrast. I think he wanted to move away from that and make sure he’s respected and not pigeon holed

    the difference being the SSLP to MMLP change is was a good thing. I like SSLP but I don’t think his career would’ve boomed as much without the aggressiveness of MMLP. So it was a smart move back then
