Jun 27, 2024 Remember the rules now. For physicals to be included in sales they need to be available the first week so if he wants them to count he has to have them ready. Not pre ordering a lot and having to send it out 3 months later. That's why so many big artists have their music ready to go on release day. I don't know about leaking. I don't know if that's a big thing anymore or if stores and fans are more respectful now and they let the physical copies it in stores all week and no one leaks anything but there's no way this album is coming next week. Eminem said himself during the football game he will see us In the third quarter. He wasn't just talking about the football game. This album was always intended for a 3rd quarter release. It was never going to be released until at least July so I don't think anything has happened or been delayed. This is probably the first time we as fans have known one of his albums are done and are seeing in real time how these things work. He may have given it to Dre months ago but it takes time to get it all just right. Make it sound good. Maybe there was multiple photoshoots needed to get the right cover art and promo pictures. Some with and without his beard. Look at how no one knew about Houdini. Maybe more videos were filmed back to back and they're being edited. They obviously have a system that works. They have a way of ensuring nothing leaks out. Bare in mind the thousands of people worldwide involved in this. This release date will be known internally. Obviously it will be in people's contracts maybe some kind of NDA where they can't discuss future releases but it will come when it's meant. Same with all the other artists you see no one finishes an album then hands it in and it's out in a month
