Jun 29, 2024 People hated Revival because of the track list and were proven right. The people on this forum have followed Eminem’s career long enough to sense when something underwhelming might be coming. That being said, I’m sure everyone here wants a great song and project. The criticism comes from a place of fandom. I also think a large part of the excitement for this project is the seeming attempt to recapture his old sound. That was a total success with Houdini. This song, on its face, seems like a departure from that.
