Jun 29, 2024 Exactly. I don’t listen to music on a CD player so why would I buy a physical version of something, if I don’t care for the nostalgia reason for it. I can access everything on my phone with a few clicks of a button which I pay for. Buying a CD does not make you anymore of a fan or more of a hipster, than someone who streams it. I was born in 1991 so this “I grew up with it” argument is nonsense as I lived it as well.

Jun 29, 2024 Eminem is in another league from songwriting to technical ability & rhyming. For every corny Eminem bar there’s a top tier one, & his flows are bonkers. He’s transcended just being a rapper, he’s an artist that has evolved through multiple generations of his career to the point where he sounds like a different rapper on his albums. Big Sean raps abcs & 99% of the time is writing the most cringe inducing trash being put out in music. Ridiculous comparison.
