Jan 14, 2022 Obviously Em is a legend so I get the criticism sometimes… but there’s PLENTY of artists who constantly drop mediocre s--- and don’t get the same backlash. Example today: Joey badass new song was a--- & I haven’t seen the same backlash Em got. Make it make sense.

Jan 14, 2022 it probably has to do with Em’s defiance and stubbornness towards any criticism he gets… he takes every opportunity he gets to tell ppl they don’t understand his music or they’re dumb for not understanding his wicked flow. I mean this is the guy who literally said “you’re mentally r-----ed and won’t ever be an artist” as justification for why you can’t criticize him so that’s prolly why he gets more criticism

Jan 14, 2022 Serious thoughts, read it all before banning me forever am I the only one who has almost no hype for this album? em fan since ever and I didn't dislike this new track, but not knowing if it's actually going to drop(I wanna trust you, but, you know), no tracklist, no title to at least wonder what it could sound/be like (Relapse 2 is a mythological creature at this point but if he would announce it we would go crazy and know what it could be like). I mean I HOPE it's coming but right know idk Also, this new style he has is cool (whatever came after the song with Cudi), but I would be bored by a whole album like this, I hope at least mix it up like he did on Side-B with songs such as Alfred's Theme, Book Of Rhymes and Discombobulated giving a total different energy from the "calm" tracks like Tone Deaf, Gnat, Favorite B, These Demons, Killer and Zeus. Cause I see a lot of you hoping he stays on some Walkthrough vibes, and I love the song, but a whole album like that? idk, let me know what you think
Jan 14, 2022 LLS. Not his best feature but the man is clearly experimenting. His rapping style on every feature this past year is completely different. I'm excited for what he puts together on this supposed Album that's coming next week. Content was great btw plus flows at the beginning and end. Also, this who are hating on the adlib rap, that is classic Em right there. Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP are filled with adlibs
Jan 14, 2022 He’s a battle rapper at heart tho so he’s always gonna clap back and he’s always been criticized even back in the day with his “homophobic” lyrics, gay people and critics ate him alive but that didn’t stop him from talking about gay people and saying the word “f*gg*t”… example with the fast rap: people hate when he does it and I think that’s why he keeps doing it lol…
