May 14, 2024 D12 were HUGE internationally, they are still in the Top 10 most popular hip hop artists of the 2000's (globally). many US hip-hop fans believe that if an artist is not Top 3 in their country right now, then no one has even heard of him. In may 2024, 20 years after their last album, they still have 4 million monthly listeners, an insane number, especially knowing that their songs are simply labeled as "D12", not the "D12 feat. Eminem".
May 14, 2024 just imagine, Westside Boogie now has only 900K monthly listeners in may 2024, he has released 2 albums under Shady/Interscope over the past 5 years, and D12 released their last album 20 years ago and have 4 million monthly listeners in Spotify rn.
May 14, 2024 50 Cent is still relevant, it had 35 million monthly listeners (#106 globally), and Taylor Swift has 115 million monthly listeners (#1 globally). The difference is only 3 times, not 30 times. This is nothing for an artist who released his last album 10 years ago. People downplay the importance of 50 Cent in hip-hop culture.
May 14, 2024 Royce is corny asf w/ the Lupe/Mickey stuff. I hope he's not on the album ... but Em is too loyal to not have him on. L
May 14, 2024 Makes sense. The beat reminds me of Lighters, same era all them pop ballads were being made.
May 14, 2024 Just a lil shower thought, Em rapped as Shady in his latest freestyle (Shady maaan you can't..), which one could probably assume is the freestyle prior to the album like back in the days. Now he was also a "lil under the weather", which felt rly rly random to state. Was he trying to tell us that shady is ill and is on his last string. Inb4 Shady died due to covid, nah but that lil under the weather has always felt so random to me
May 14, 2024 May 31st. Long winded evidence located below. Lol https://www.reddit.com/u/Embarrassed-Age-2921/s/4fIO7ZzFl5
May 14, 2024 https://www.reddit.com/u/Embarrassed-Age-2921/s/4fIO7ZzFl5 More evidence to support this theory
May 14, 2024 Nah, I don't think thas s---. I know they can be subtle with hints like this, but I don't think they'd expect that... and if the t-shirts ship on May 31st... they ain't gonna get to people until weeks later. Maybe they do have the albums lol. I dunno. Either way album is Jun 7.
May 14, 2024 Very interesting theory indeed...Dropping Labor day weekend makes sense though. The beginning of Summer for the US. It's also the same weekend Rap Devil Dropped. So that makes it a bit more interesting.
