Jun 17, 2022 Listened to it once on my 5.1 speakers and again, not surprisingly, his vocals are not clear... I'm sure when i listen to it on my headphones or earphones it'll sound clear and dope but I really wonder why anything he records sounds wack on speakers, is it about mixing, is it something else ?... The song was fine, sonically just ok, the jailhouse rock sampled beat was fine, I'd prefer listenin to the original jailhouse rock rather than hearing Cee Lo's imitation of the hook with different words. Em was fine, there was probably much more to it lyrically than I caught at one listen.

Jun 17, 2022 Um. That's random bringing Drake up out of nowhere. But at least Drake knows that he wants to be a pop artist and he's competent at making club hits. Em isn't really hitting either lane. He's tone-deaf when it comes to beats, hooks and mixing. He just wants to focus on lyrics, but at the same time his lyrics are god-awful.
Jun 17, 2022 Em's hooks have been getting better. Most of Side B hooks are catchy and sound good. Can't forget his best hook in a while, I Will. He still needs a quality control team in the studio with him real bad though.
Jun 17, 2022 Em just needs a better sound engineer. His songs are fine, he is just far too focus on the technicals of writing and Rhyming. Zues is probably the best blend of his new style and a sonically well produce song. This song is honestly his most catchy single since 2013, excluding Godzilla. If he raps like this on more conventional hip hop production, then his lyrics would pop more. But I enjoy it. He ain’t trying to chase number 1 club hits. Just spitting for fun

Jun 18, 2022 Side A/B and Kamazase all got more than fair reviews same with most the features from around that time. I don't think its him not catching a break more his current style has very demonising returns, plus his rock/ rap fusion has never been loved by kinda anyone besides maybe SFTM.
