This song has potential for a solid video . Been reading reviews....bit of a mixed bag, but for the most part is being praised as introspective. Might get him a Grammy or two for this one.

He doesn’t. It was him overthinking things and thinking he had to show off his technical skills instead of just calming down and rapping normally over the beat. The whole point of this song was admitting how obsessive he gets over his music. To the point he runs things into the ground and ends up disappointing people.

There’s a very interesting interview with the bass brothers more specifically mark from
Not too long ago which touches on why he’s so out of touch. TLDR: eminem has always had trouble spacing his bars and flow and it’s really showing without the aid and support of the bass brothers whom were responsible for the first half of his career. Here’s a little exercise when it comes to flow: think of the song Renegade - now rap the first verse trying to emulate Eminem’s recent flow and tempo. It starts to sound like modern em, he’s just confused and it’s all making sense now. The interviews when he came back and he said he had to re learn how to rap we’re actually true and to further validate it look at the relapse production writers credits - notice how a lot of the writers are ABSENT (with the exclusion of Luis Resto) on his recent 2010-now content. A little research goes a long way!

I don't see it as being confused. I think the song is showing that he feels human and vulnerable to the expectations and words of his fans. Then, at the end...he is basically giving a F you that he is a God as long as he has a mic and we don't.

Basically how emotions can change. And I think it is a lead in that he;s going to do his thing and prove it. That's what I take from it, anyway.

Not gonna lie I think this song is amazing.

Very powerful in what he’s saying.

You can’t have followed Em’s career since the SSLP and not feel emotional at this song. Crazy journey and it’s sad to hear him struggling at this point.

But, kind of sad that even there he says...

...8 years later...

"...the first of the Mathers disc set"

And his last album was MMLP2. And the album before that, Mr. Porter kept saying 'this is very reminiscent of MMLP' (probably told by Em and co to say that), then with Relapse release... Em at the time was implying it's like MMLP era and also press release alluding to this.

He's obsessed.

Would probably be a lot easier on him if he lets go of that idea. MMLP is a masterpiece, but Em - you ain't going to recreate that same energy. Create a different one. That's done and gone, good job, now move on.

I hope he finally has with this album, because even though his styles and approach is vastly different each album anyway... he's still been obsessed with past glory for three albums in a row now - Relapse, Recovery, sequel to the album he's trying to secretly re-create, now Revival... Like, just let go of the past Em.

Bad song.
Good lyrics but bad flow.
Good melody but the production is boring.
Maybe a good intro, but not a good first single.
There is no chemistry between Beyonce and him in this song.
Please, follow the beat and no more acapella.

Not agree at all, and I think that you are not objective, but everyone has his own opinion.

This song sounds not good and he doesn't flows well on this track.
Listen WoW and go listen all recents acapellas he did. Same way to deliver.
What is a music ? "a pattern of sounds made by musical instruments, voices [...] intended to give pleasure to people listening to it"
This is a good statement, but not a good song.
