    Ya and thats why I think the album will be coming on the 17th...I dont think I will be able to stand this song by the end of the week...Ive had it on repeat

    It would be easy to say that, with all of the songs and projects that have been released the past decade, that eminem doesn't know how to rap anymore. But MMLP2 bonus songs were so good. Flow, content, vocals etc.

    I abandoned eminem some time ago, but he could very well surprise me on at least a few songs on this new album

    This site shows on a hour basis how a song is doing. The site is pretty accurate. Right now, Walk On Water is already decreasing. I remember how Berzerk performed. It actually overwhelmed the whole top 10. Sadly, Walk On Water does not have the same hype.

    hmm i find it curious that you keep taking this bent with me? i am less effusive about 4:44 than nearly all of my peers. it is, to me, a 3-mic album, 3.5 if i'm being extremely generous. but its problems are mostly in editing, not that jay has atrophied terribly as a technical rapper, which is something you keep arguing with (to my ears, anyway) little evidence. and it's a huge stretch to compare jay maybe not hitting a song like he did on Dynasty with what's happened to eminem, which we should all be able to agree is virtually unprecedented.

    Well first u don’t get to take a day off from this, how dare u. Two main points to fester on:
    1. It was my understanding you were a fairly big fan of 4:44– so that’s my impression apologies if I’m misremembering conversations
    2. You’re right eye (f--- you apple) haven’t provided evidence. That’s mostly bc eye em just bullshitting around and not taking this serious enough to debate the album on its merits. So no academic debate here, just sipping beers. Still —It’s again my impression from the summer that it was Quite noticeable. Not that he’s being purposely more “musical” (moratorium) or whatever... but that his skills are a severe drop off - flow, cadence from his peak in the late 90s or however you want to define it. Playing his prime material eye think confirms this handily. Not a question of “not hitting a song” it’s a skills decline. And that’s fine!! My point is because of his persona and broader reputation he’s treated more softly than eminem in 2017

    Prefer it over Just Lose It, We Made You, Not Afraid, Berzerk.
