Feb 13, 2017 I hope to h--- that this is a listenable album, but Alexakid and 'super dope'(?) ...seriously has me doubtful.
Feb 13, 2017 If he uses the style he has the past few years like on Campaign Speech and in all his recent freestyles, its not going to be 'super dope' s----s gonna be super trash
Feb 13, 2017 To be fair that beat was dope. Not a huge fan of Em's rapping over it though and same with I Need a Doctor. He needs someone like Dre to bring the best out of him. I know this is a HUGE ask, but I want some continuity in theme and (for me) production is key to that. Alexdakid isn't the one to bring it, so hearing him apparently involved is meh. Gimme Dre or Luis Resto/Em beats (Bass Bros wont happen so..). But that's just me.
Feb 13, 2017 im going to listen to it start to finish so i can intellectually tear stans that like it a new arsehole
Feb 13, 2017 I agree, production is key to consistent theme and you usually need a good exec producer for that. Dre would be amazing but I doubt that as well. AdK's statement doesn't necessarily mean he did a lot or anything at all, he could have just had some co production on a single.
Feb 13, 2017 That's a clear indication we are gonna get more pop music from Marshall, and that's what I'm not looking forward to.
Feb 13, 2017 Yeah man I get you. Just hope that matters don't get worse with em hypothetically doing his Campaign Speech-esq rappity rap over it. God for-f---ing-bid!
Feb 13, 2017 He also produced "a------" and this song doesn't really sums up MMLP2 musically btw Em was great on that song, I just wish it had different beat and hook
Feb 13, 2017 I am a fan and always have been. But if this is recovery style… I will not buy it I will download it selectively
Feb 13, 2017 No, he also produced a------, C'mon Let Me Ride and others. If Alex is on the beat then probably Skylar is on the Hook...
