I agree that it sounds completely different. Besides the alfred skits it does sound like a new album with a new sound, but they packed it in a deluxe of side a to make the overall sales of MTBMB look better, a cheap move that alot of artists and labels do. But it wont count as a new album no matter how bad any of us want it. 80k this week will look pretty good thanks to the simple technicality of calling it a deluxe.

I honestly love him doing lower numbers, he clearly doesn’t care about sales with zero promotion.

But the best thing about it is he isn’t forced to try to make big pop singles, the album is awesome and pure hip hop. Em making music solely for the competition and love of it produce amazing results

Even without promo this will be considered a flop sales wise!

I was thinking around 130ish maybe reaching to 150 due to Em being a big name and all, so 70 thousand is a bit of a shock lol.

Doesn’t really matter too much tho tbf... being 20+ years in the game and still charting in the top 5 is an achievement imo.

Album is officialy on the 3rd spot with 94k copies sold. McCartney on the 2nd place with 105k and Taylor on 1st with 169k.

d---, Paul sold 103k only from albums and 2k from streaming.

It's $4 extra dollars because they make you rebuy Side A with Side B. A lot of people don't want to buy it just because that alone f---s with their iTunes library, like me.

Side B did not have a Godzilla type song

Hardly any big artist is doing a promo run now. Doesn’t work in the streaming era and is a tiresome method. Look at how bad revival was handled. Also seems like to me that Em must have a agreement with the label, that he will drop music on his terms and label don’t get involved or promote the album. Rumours contract were up with interscope after revival. I think Em just likes making music and rest of it is what ever.

Easily. People are too hype on good rapping.

SSLP is artistically amazing and I can't pick apart and laugh at the lyrics like I already can with Side A or B.

I like both but they're nowhwere near SSLP.

"Guns Blazing" has grown like f--- on me. The fact it seems like a real story Em is talking about, plus just the production / hook, is like some real... Westcoast s---, isn't too cheesy, it works. Fave b---- Chorus I can never f--- with though.

PS. Em's ad-libs are lowkey funny "why?", "yeah!" and the POP-EYES sound >>>>
