    I got goosebumps when I heard it and when the 2nd beat drops and he goes in. Reminds me so much of Encore.

    Maybe his next song will be about George Floyd and Collin Kapronenick and Quarantine. But I can't see him going in that direction again but who knows he knows Revival wasn't his best work deff worst then the reviews of Relapse. I still think MTBMB is like an addition to Relapse 2 kind of the concept is similar.

    The theory that em albums always follow a theme is false. None of his albums follow this except post 2004

    Mtbmb broke the theme trend. And his next album should follow suit. Makes music that sounds right to u. It doesnt matter if the final product feels like a playlist.

    I’d say it’s theme was homage to older hip hop. Whether that be the Rick Rubin instrumentals
    Or call backs to his own older music

    It’s possible to get a revival that doesn’t sound like s---

    the content was hardly the problem if we are talking politics. For some songs it was, but not all. For me it came down to the awful mixing, subpar beat selection, and sporadic flows that weren’t all that pleasing. And the godawful decisions made on Heat and Offended.

    Hmm. Why not make a song about black on black crimes? That’s about 1/2 of all crimes/murders in America, all committed by black men (less than 4 percent of the total population). Then talk about how 9 deaths out of thousands were actually white cops killing unarmed blacks.. and how it’s mostly blacks killing whites and white cops.
    that would get some attention for Marshy.

    I guess it is relative to a select r-----ed few though.
