    Hahahahahah School bus.....

    I remember moving back home after graduation and it leaked the next month..... everyone was in denial that it s----d. Wish we had the RB thread where everyone reacted. People thought he actually leaked a fake CD to throw off the ripping groups.

    It was very sobering for me. College was over and Eminem was a s-----y rapper suddenly.

    If you understand what em went through, trying to give you f---ers the movie and the sequel he thought you wanted, being found unconscious within minutes of death, two and a half comebacks, stan 2 (!), a goat cypher verse, and still can't appreciate encore for what it was, then you have more problems than the most lucid response from embase or koolo will solve

    I just bumped Encore recent, and holly s--- does that album b---.
    a handfull of stupid songs, but other than that, it has a certain vibe to it.
    dare I say it, underrated

    Oh dear God.

    I remember buying Encore out of my Christmas money and f---ing loving it. Sat listening to it in a portable CD-Player reading the booklet to learn the lyrics whilst chatting among my mates how good the CD is :hov2:

    I prefer Ems delivery from Encore 100%. I prefer his lack of corny punchlines 100%. Encore certainly isn't Em's best, but that album has some gems on there. Granted, it has a--- Like That, Big Weenie and following MMLP and TES is probably one of the worst follow up albums in history.

    It's crazy how back in 2004 and onwards Encore was a s--- stain in Em's career and many people referred to it as 'That album that should not be named'... and now its practically praised :hov2:

    Shady XV it's not Eminem's album. Even "vegas" song it's Bad Meets Evil.
    I like to listen some instrumentals off Encore. Mosh's beat is classic, Rain Man's beat is fantastic, Like Toy Soldiers.. this chorus and beat are f---ing amazing.

    Would definitely rather listen to Encore.

    I remember when I first got it (8th grade, I think), I was listening to it on my CD player in my grandparents' car on the way to church on Christmas Eve.

    That was also the last time I went to church, so I guess something good came out of Encore.

    Big Weenie is so, so bad. I don't know if it's his absolute worst song, but it's definitely the hardest to listen to from start to finish.

    thats a tough one, Encore really did s--- with its stupid corny songs, but the rest of the songs were more than okay. but with ShadyXV I think he's going in the right direction. so think I have to go with XV

    I'll take the borderline corny 03/04 'gangsta' Em over this r-----ed 13/14 choppy, stop/start Em.

    To compensate for losing the slurred drug flow. He wrote a lot of relapse while still on drugs,but recorded it after he was sober, so he couldn't flow like he could with the slurriness. That's why he invented the accent.

    I think Shady XV is a better overall listen from start to finish. It didn't have any real classic songs on it but it didn't have any real bad ones either. Encore had a few of the best songs of his career on it (Toy Soldiers, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird) but also some of his absolute worst (Big Weenie, Just Lose It, My 1st Single). Overall I think I'd give Shady XV a 7/10 and Encore a 5/10.

    Both had good songs. Encore's highs are better I guess but the lows are worse than on shady. So I think a tie
