    I'd rather listen to Rainman than, like, 75% of Shady XV.

    the difference for me is that...

    I can sit and listen to SHADYXV all the way through. Encore has that terrible song stretch in the middle starting with Mosh and ending with a--- Like That

    Haven't listened to that in years. But shady xv is new so I like it more right now. Maybe it changes after a while though. I guess I'll keep 4/5 songs from it and that's it. We as Americans is one of my favourite Eminem songs, if it counts as an encore song

    If you read the rest, I said that it can change. Right now I like shady xv because it's new, that doesn't make it better but it needs to sink in and I don't know how this wil hold up. I know it's not a good reasoning but it's hard to pick right now because one is just out for a week or 2.

    Edit: I'll give my reasoning for his style (not the actual albums) when I'm on my laptop

    The only reason I even made it through my second time listening to it is because I think all music deserves at least a twice over before you can really have an informed opinion about it. Third attempt I couldn't do it. Haven't listened to it since.

    Why are people comparing the full albums saying they can listen to ShadyXV all the way through where as Encore had an awful bit in the middle?
    The thread is clearly about Eminems contribution not the whole album, and besides from Fine Line and Guts Over Fear his contribution was s---.

    Theres something about fine line that lacks emotion

    The lyrics are good but his delivery ruins it a bit for me

    I think G.O.F is probably the last good deep song we will get from Eminem which was delivered well

    Yea me too. I think he is more than capable of releasing a successful album but for some reason he's making a lot of wrong decisions.

    Encore eminem flow and voice wise, lyrics are better on shady xv besides a few songs. But his natural cool calm flow on encore way better sounding

    encore eminem. yes that stretch in the middle starting from mosh and ending with a--- like that are the worse things hes ever done on a album, but his flows on the rest of encore are far better than on xv. in other words, the highs on encore are far better than anything on xv.

    I'll take Shady XV Eminem, as his flow, lyrics, and wordplay can't be denied. I'm thinking back to the Encore Eminem and how slow and sometimes slurred his cadence was back then. How many of his recent songs could he literally have not pulled off back then? I'm not sure he would have been able to pull off any of his Shady XV verses back then given the state he was in. Imagine the slow, slurry cadence from the likes of Mosh, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird trying to spit verses like Psychopathic Killer, Detroit vs Everybody, Fine Line, etc.

    I'm thinking it wouldn't happen.

    Yeah I couldn't agree more, Its only really the start of the 1st verse and end of the 2nd there's actually any proper emotion.
