Apr 5, 2015 Holy s---. A song with lyrics like "I was born with a d-ck in muh brain, yeah f----- in the head" is put in the same sentence with Deja Vu. Like seriously, holy s---. Not to mention the rest of the trash songs. Holy s--- that's embarassing.
Apr 5, 2015 Relapse has always been a guilty pleasure for me. I easily prefer it over Encore, Recovery, MMLP2, or XV. I don't think it's a great album, but I do really enjoy some of the songs from Relapse, Refill, and a few from that era that Koolo leaked. I thought Eminem seemed really energized, and his flows and rhyme schemes were pretty impressive. Some of the themes were unorthodox but that's part of why I enjoy it. I can understand why people hate the accent, and I do think it was overdone, but on songs like Hello, Music Box and Same Song and Dance I think the accent works just fine. And I don't think I need to get into how great the production is on Relapse and Refill. I always wished Eminem went with his original plan of releasing a Relapse 2 instead of scrapping it and forcing his new persona on Recovery.

Apr 6, 2015 In my world, his voice just sounds way more smooth and comfortable on Relapse, nothing sounds forced at all. Today his voice reminds me of a boxer who should have stopped long time ago. I never listen to any of the albums tho, I'm done with him. But I would take a Relapse album (minus the context and accent) over Recovery and MMLP2.
Apr 6, 2015 Eh, maybe... The highlights on Encore barely outshine the highlights on Relapse. I feel like the 50 feature could of been better on Relapse. I know it's a b-----r and all, but I wanted something more grimey.

Apr 7, 2015 Listening to Encore right now...It has some s-----y songs no doubt, but it's definitely underrated. Tracks like Evil Deeds, Never Enough, Like Toy Soldiers, Puke, a--- Like That, Spend Some Time, Mockingbird, Encore, We As Americans, Love You More, & Ricky Ticky Toc are all good/great songs. Definitely s----s on Relapse
