People keep pointing this out but he's done it at least since MMLP, probably to have the timing perfect, or some leeway if he runs out of breath. But he's rapping full loud over the top of it you can hear that.
Apr 19, 2018 I've been watching some of the performances from Coachella by Em and I have to ask: Why does he even need Mr.Porter at this point? He has a backing track playing in the background for when he's out of breath and this performance was just horrible, 25% of the time the audio was the backing track. We are living in a day and age where even Mr.Porter is constantly out of breath. Now the hypeman needs a hypeman to help him finish Em's lines on stage.
