I'm afraid it's too soon for him but at the same time he as the right personality, determination and quality to be a regular option. He had a big injury in the last games of the season so i dont know if he will be at his best in the olympics, i hope so.

Not a refutation, France defeated Germany, who defeated Italy, who defeated Spain.

in that case Croatia beat Spain, Poland tied Germany, Wales beat Belgium....

lets just focus of who France/Portugal played....Portugal was in the easier bracket but the other side was only the top bracket was crazy with Spain, Italy, Germany....

France only played Germany...they did not play Spain or Italy

All completely down to said sides choosing to play like s--- on that day. You can't honestly compare poland to germany.

and france came and beat the winner of it all. I mean, last minute winners and penalties are fine, but i can't see portugal holding up for 90 mins against any of those teams.

you cant say Croatia, Poland & Wales all played bad on the day they play Portugal - you have to give some credit to Portugal lol...I can say Germany had a bad day against France...when it doesn't matter - France was the better team on that day, had some luck go there way and won the game...

common now, France is the better team on paper and heavy favorite - if they don't win it will be a HUGE disappointment....but your saying Portugal could not beat Romania? Albania? Switzerland? Ireland? those teams are nothing special

that's an easy road until playing Germany too...

Portugal only won 1 game in the whole tournament in 90 minutes lol very lucky to get to the final.

Yes i'm very confident, it's a final anything can happen.

I cant say why but descendents of portugueses always feel so much pride of this country, we see so many cases like yours, especially in france.
It's a special country with special people and once you came from portugueses you always be portuguese i guess.

Watch this portuguese descendent, he's a tv host and was born and raised in Canada and he stopped his show to see the penaltys against Poland and went crazy.

France is suppose to win; 1-3 zip....if France scores first Portugal is in trouble in my opinion but who knows...especially in the 1st half...Portugal will have to change their style...and France is not Hungary

but I do believe in Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo having a great game...if Portugal scores first this will be entertaining....

the longer the game goes and France does not score...the more I will believe Portugal will win in extra time or penalties...I think they will be confident in penalties having won already once before...and it will suit the style Fernando Santos wants Portugal to play...defensively, counter attack a team like France....im hoping 0-0 after full time
