he used the same style for half of his career dude. 97-04 featured the same flow with his voice getting older. he just flowed with rhythm. he does not flow with any sort of rhythm now. you can't even bob your head to his s---

i.e. f---ing drag ballad, not even thought of as a lyrical song...

if he spit that now it would be awful

I'm guessing the first sing recorded for the project was phenomenal, which has the worst flow of all. Slowly, the flow gets better, the last verse of KND is great, All I Think About is perfection, and Raws flow is the best in awhile (the flow just couldn't save the song from the lyrics)

it just has no rhythm to it. he's lost his delivery completely, that's really the only thing wrong with him. he used to spit corny and dumbass lines all the time but they sounded good so f--- it. i.e. 'comin out the blue like nude cops' - till h--- freezes over

One line I specifically think suffered was from wicked ways:

Went down the fire escape of the Empire State
Slipped, fell straight down to the ground
Splattered all over the entire state
And straight to h---, got impaled by the gates
Saw Satan, stuck his face in an ashtray

that could have been as great as the statue of liberty high fives line if used with correct delivery or just slight modifications. like why the f--- is he breaking up LINES instead of BARS

i.e.

slipped down the fire escape of the empire state

Fell straight to h--- but I got impaled by the gates
Then I saw Satan's cell and stuck his face in a ashtray


^Though classic shady would have ended that with
"Then I smoked Satan's L, but kind of think it was laced"

I always have high expectations for Eminem, and he always sets the bear as high as possible. Do we still get songs that are mediocre? Yes. Do we still get bad tracks? Yes, but that is incredibly rare these days. Eminem has been trying a lot harder recently and it's really paying off.

I guess I could give you that. I don't listen to MMLP 2 that often, and I can only recall listening to it in full a few times. I've listened to his older albums a lot more.

yeah, same. they sound cool at first but after you realize they have no rhythm there's no much else to do once you hear it a few times. like the s--- never gets stuck in my head like his old s---

i know pretty much every word to his first few albums becuase of how easy and natural it sounded

The expectation will depend on paul tbh,the guy (eminem)looks like he follows everything his homies said (royce,denaun,paul,djkhalil)instead of listen to what the critics says.he can make the dumbest songs they will say yes.But if em realise what is really going on with his popularity things could change but hey i'm just a n----- on the internet
