Maybe that time in their lives will never be as good as it is now. If so, that’s a personal problem. Em can’t fix that. I understand the criticism. Trust me I do. Em in this decade has give you 12 classic tracks. That’s a whole album. Go back from 2010-2018 and you’ll find 12. s--- maybe more. You have another classic album technically. My point is what are you looking for besides nostalgia? I’m not saying this “Lord above” verse is flawless but d---. Go listen to his old albums. You’ll get what you want every time
Dec 7, 2019 tbh some of his flows on MMLP2 were even better than those on Relapse. Flow on Baby >>> this choppy flow everyone hates originated from Shady XV. And anyone who thinks Em can't flow like he used to, do me a favour and listen to the Ringer again. His verse after the beat switch sounds like something from The Eminem Show era. (inb4 Enigma claims it was written in 2003). So in my opinion, he does this choppy flow because, idk, maybe he likes rapping like that.

Also, I truly believe Eminem’s bars are too intelligent for a lot of the haters to understand intellectually. Salute, he knocked his verse out of the park. He's so obsessed with lyrics that he forgot how to rap and actually make his verses enjoyable to listen to. It's like he's freestyling accapella over every song. Em has been s--- for so long it's crazy.

Dec 7, 2019 Yes it was 100% recorded in Kamikaze sessions lol it just sounds more like the TES era flow. He rhymes everything from like halfway through the second verse obsessively which is clearly recent Em. Not to mention the references he makes Framed was also recorded during Revival, it wasn’t a leftover from Relapse. He wouldn’t pull out a leftover from an album he’s openly hated on. He can change up his style pretty drastically
