Apr 15, 2015 What are some of the films you wish were made, but ever saw the light of day? I personally wanted to see 'Paradise Lost'. The "Poem" is epic, and me being a religious person, I could see it being the best film about the subject matter to date. Maybe someday production will be back on. Anyway, what are some of the films you wish were made?
Apr 15, 2015 Man I was pissed when they cancelled Paradise Lost. The concept art looked great and seeing the poem on the big screen green would've been epic. For me one I'll choose is David Cronenberg's Star Wars: Revenge of the Jedi. It was a totally different film than the one we got, a lot darker (a lot less ewoks) and the rumoured plot had Han Solo dying.
Apr 15, 2015 I agree about Paradise Lost... thanks for the info on the Star Wars film, I never knew that one was even in consideration.
Apr 15, 2015 I'd k--- to see the original cut of batman forever, though with most of the original scenes on youtube I could probably put it together myself anyway
Apr 15, 2015 Jodorowskys DUNE. After el topo and holy mountain, with designing from giger and moebius, Pink Floyd doing the soundtrack and so on, officially greateat movie never made
Apr 15, 2015 At the Mountains of Madness, directed by Del Toro produced by Cameron and Spielberg and It was starring Tom Cruise I think. also either Godfather 4 or the Frank Sinatra biopic directed by Scorsese and Starring DiCaprio.
Apr 15, 2015 John woos american debut movie written by tarantino, chow yun fat in lead rike obv, never happened. but then again hard target is great
Apr 15, 2015 Darren aronofskis robocop remake and batman year one. And since he owns remake rights for perfect blue i hope he makes it
Apr 15, 2015 Yes! I remember the Sinatra film was going to be made, whatever happened?.. Why was it shelved?
Apr 17, 2015 I can't think of many films that should have been made that weren't but I can think of a bunch that were made that shouldn't have been.
Apr 17, 2015 Hoping that it gets made, but considering they're all up there it's still a toss up The Irishman with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel, Bobby Cannavale -- directed by Martin Scorcese
Apr 17, 2015 There are movies in the past that I thought should've gotten a sequel but when I think about it now sequels hardly ever live up to the original anyway so it's probably for the best that they didn't happen. I know I always wanted Dumb and Dumber 2 and look how that turned out. That one definitely shouldn't have been made. For what it's worth at least it made me appreciate the original even more than I already did. It's mostly sequels that shouldn't have been made. I don't know of many films that I was looking forward to seeing that never saw the light of day. I know a few big ones were The Mask 2 (probably would've turned out just like D&D2), Gladiator 2 (don't know how this one was even considered seeing as how the main character died at the end of the original), and Batman Triumphant (sequel to Batman & Robin. They knew they couldn't they follow up with anything after that monstrosity). These are sequels that no one wanted to see though.
