Feb 23, 2015 Same here. I bought it the day it was released and I remember standing in line with like ten people and we all had that album in our hands. Kanye had a HUGE buzz at that time. Reminded me of when 50 dropped GRODT the year before.
Feb 23, 2015 Through the Wire. Heard the sample and must have heard the Chaka Kahn original song in the past because I thought the song must be an older song from an artist I wasn't familiar with. My buddy who was playing it at the time said "This guy is going to be huge." I was thinking how you all must be some young kids to have started with Stronger, etc. but then I realized that Through the Wire came out 12 years ago.

Feb 23, 2015 I was thinkin the same thing. I was 23 and toward the end of my Kanye phase when Stronger came out. I honesty think his best years were 2004-06, before Stronger came out.
