Feb 8, 2016 jesus christ those wiz sales are abysmal, i remember when everyone loved him at my old high school
Feb 8, 2016 The only people taking L's are the weird foreigners like FullSpeed who give credence to album sales in 2016, and brainwashed social outcasts like BrotherMan
Feb 8, 2016 Wait what? EVOL barely had any type of promotional push. For all intents and purposes it was sort of like a suprise release. To see him doing 100k+ is pretty crazy. I wonder how much he would have sold if the album got pushed... Also, with I'm Up it's no surprise Thug sold poorly. Just with all the leaks and how terrible the album(?) sounds in general outside of a few songs it was no doubt the album wouldn't be pushing numbers. I feel like Thug will never fully make that transition to becoming an album rapper or someone you would buy music from.
Feb 8, 2016 I don't Thug will ever sell well. It's just the type of artist he is, I don't think he will ever properly transition to becoming an artist people buy music from. I think he's stuck in that mixtape rapper scene.
Feb 8, 2016 tbh, he hasnt really scored a big hit since lifestyle, but best friend is doing surprisingly well on the charts but its starting to drop
Feb 8, 2016 the people on this forum are so simple-minded and pathetic this is why i have no interest in taking part of this community
Feb 8, 2016 I wouldn't really count Lifestyle because that was more of a joint record with Rich Homie but yeah Best Friend did pretty well but he didn't capitalize on that the way he should've
Feb 8, 2016 Thug did good for now. Trust me, it's gon' be 20 times better when HiTunes comes out Better get ready.
Feb 8, 2016 about the money did well (actually went platinum which surprised me), but peeked at #42, barely missing the top 40 (which is really where your song could be considered a smash) and hookah peaked at #85 and slid down from there pretty quickly, barely a hit he's had hits, but no big hits since lifestyle best friend is doing better right now than stoner tho, which only peeked at #47 so yeah, im definitely wrong to say he doesnt have solo hits, but he hasnt gotten into the top 40 yet by himself which is really where your song becomes a smash
Feb 8, 2016 word i dont really care about these stats at all but yeah, saying his only hit was lifestyle seemed wrong im up sold as well as barter 6 did basically. and that was pushed as an album until the last minute. this was a retail mixtape, with no pre orders, that they switched up on us at the last minute. although i think the songs were supposed to be the same either way, changing the name changed the narrative people had going into it which probably hurt the sales
Feb 8, 2016 also thug is gonna continue to have low album sales if his main fanbase is just teenagers on the internet and 300 doesnt push him
