    It was a pure blessing. Perhaps his most visually impressive film, has some of the most beautiful shots I've ever seen :allears: The only thing that keeps it from being among my very favorites of his is some of the awful music choices, that Phil Collins cover is hysterical in the final standoff :'(. Classic movie though, love it. Mann's hit ratio is phenomenal. Gonna rewatch some of his films then make a ranked list for him.

    Give the unrated version a watch sometime. Has a better opening with a few more great shots littered throughout.

    Need to re-watch Heat, Collateral, and Manhunter, but I'm feeling this right now.

    I did watch the unrated version cause that's the only version that's on blu ray.
