He's my lifelong idol so it's so uplifting seeing him back. Granted no more CR7, but he should be able to restore some much needed harmony into the locker room. I'm still expecting us to suffer but hey let's see what happens!

This is practically goodbye to Bale (although watch him catch form again) & any chance of James return is certainly gone (unless Zizou magically has him in mind). Hazard for sure is coming, would love if we can get another French star (Pogba? Crossing fingers for Mbappe but it's a pipe dream).

I'm slightly glad real f----- it up the way they did just to show the perez how much this team is broken and that it's time to put both feet in the next transfer market!

Have to give it to Ajax. They played really well. They did not disappoint. It was a great match.
I obviously was expecting RM to snatch a victory due to them having all the experience in this competition, as they're the title holders for 3 consecutive years. No surprises tbh. RM recently have been performing at their best since the beginning of this season.

@Michael Myers you guys played a fantastic half against Germany, solid in every part although some struggles from the right side against Kroos' vertical passes + Werner getting behind the rightback too often.

Idk what the h--- is Muller still doing in this team or in Bayern

Fitting ending, just when I thought that 1st PSG goal was gonna bite them in the a---, Firmino got the late winner. PSG desperately need a holding midfielder and today's approach with a sweeper-mid hybrid was reckless against a relentless ball-pressing team--neither Rabiot nor ADM could comfortably receive the ball between lines because of the brilliant cover shadow Liverpool implemented whenever PSG lumbered from the back. Liverpool need to stop conceding such stupid goals, can't afford to do that in knockouts.

Unreal...was hoping he'd stay but after winning 3 in a row I figure it's best to leave on top. I'm only grateful for what he's achieved with us, the GOAT talk will never end but I'll remember him as the greatest Champions League player of all time
