City have been so disciplined and excellent but like you said I want to see how they handle these upcoming big fixtures. I've really enjoyed watching Chelsea, the 3-5-2 gets the best out of Hazard, Cesc and Kante with all that overloading the middle zones--forcing teams to leave the flanks vulnerable for crosses--and as long as that core can keep up their form I don't see why you guys can go far in both Europe and in the title race -

City got quite lucky today. In the second minute it should have been a clear red card because they denied Vardy a clear goal scoring opportunity. With Stones out for 6 weeks, I hope their defence gets properly tested. Their upcoming matches in the next month against Spurs and United are HUGE. Personally I think City will win the title quite comfortably but I hope a few teams can put up a challenge.
Seems like my team Chelsea have finally found their rhythm. The 3-5-2 works very well for us and the return of Kante has brought back our stability. 4 wins in a row in the PL with a big match against Liverpool to come.Alpha, Guma and Fire Squad like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

I want to see someone seriously offer City a legit challenge since I still see that defense as very frail but the others keep stumbling on the way, I was legit shocked to see Spurs lose to Arsenal today. Ligue 1 is a lot of fun to watch (Lyon is a riot) but there's no stopping that PSG offense... -

I'm praying Morata turns out good for you guys, I'm pissed we sold him and aren't looking for a replacement (I'm very concerned having just Benzema as our only pure striker).
The added pressure for Conte will be managing in multiple competitions, a lot less breaks and the reserves will need to step up for those key games. Not sure if the 3 man defense really works in the European Cup in this era. The squad looks a bit thin, but a full healthy starting 11 is easily top 3 in the Prem.Guma, Hard Klyntar and Jakey like this. -

Jesus Christ this will have a ton of implications as far as buy out clauses go in the future.
In some ways this is exciting to see a player like Neymar add some parity to UCL another contender but I'm sad it weakens La Liga since that's once again another superstar departing for "greener" pastures.
There really should not be any excuse from the Barca board at this point to not be able to buy adequate players needed in key positions.Guma, Hard Klyntar and Alpha like this.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Neymar just confirmed his exit with his teammates an hour ago @SoccerSXN .
That's that, Neymar is going to be a psg player. [@Marta_Ramon]
The timing also confirms that the reason he didn't say anything was to try collecting the loyalty bonus in his Barcelona contract (would have been paid yesterday). Unfortunately they clearly didn't read the conditions for receiving the loyalty bonus.
So good riddance, great player, might be the best after messi retires, but was destroying the foundation of the club with contract blackmailing and epitomizing the Enrique era of inefficient play (for our standards). Now he's off the wage bill, Denis and Delofeu will get more play time, and the focus will be in the middle, and not the attack. This was necessary for the club to survive at the top, otherwise we'd have crashed and he'd have left anyway.Last edited: Aug 2, 2017Jakey, Hard Klyntar and Enigma like this.
